Setting up a family on smarty

Hi, I'm brand new to Smarty. I've managed to set me up, but can't work out how to add the children (who are under 18 so can't have their own account according to Smarty. DO I have to set up their accounts and my name and then group them together? If I can get the £10 referral fee - even better!
