I have managed to find out that the Wifi Calling tab is hidden within the "Phone" (call button) settings.
This is switchable.
Also, the reason for the distortion during calls was a faulty sim card. My phone wasn't receiving any calls but could make them.
Handy being able to instantly swap it out for an eSim from Smarty now.
