Phone number
My number has changed although I asked for my old one to be carried over. Not good

When did you begin the porting of your old number?
Have you had a text/email saying the port was successful?
It may take a couple of days for your number to appear on your phone (not including weekends), but those ringing your number should get through (the same with SMS).
It's only if you phone out (right now) that others won't recognise your number.
A couple of things to try in the meantime:
Switch off your phone and reboot it. This may refresh your phone to accept the ported number.
You may also be able to change the number (to the one you're portin) through your phone settings.
