Out of plan limit
How do I set a limit on the amount I can be charged for out of plan usage.
Especially important when roaming.

Two questions, what happens if I try to use maritime network while on a cruiser ship, will it just not work?
When traveling in Europe you can use up to 12gb data per month, well it just stop working when you got the 12gb limit?

Russywhite @I believe that the maritime network is via satellite and so that costs £6 per minute as per Price Guide.
onceyou have roamed up to 12Gb on the unlimited plan, you can only use more if you buy a data roaming pass. It will stop working otherwise.

Smarty works on loading up money to your account and then using that against paid for services.
For instance, if you go to a non EU country and load up £10 on your account, you will have access to calls, texts etc and data only until the costs reached £10 and then things will stop working.
In those countries, you may be better advised to seek out places that offer free wifi if possible.

Unless you've got an active out-of-plan add-on, you won't be charged for out-of-plan usage.
The phone won't work without credit for that type of usage.
