New sim

I have just purchased a sim from smarty (first time) I have activated it however I cannot send or receive calls. How long will it take please??

    Stephen_2220883,

    According to Smartys help articles, it can take up to 2 hours for the SIM to be activated.  You'll get a text/SMS to say your SIM is active.

    If it takes much longer, it might be worth contacting Smarty via Webchat

    Stephen_2220883  Once the sim is activated, you should see the number allocated to it on your account dashboard.

    All depends how busy things are, but usually fairly quick.
