New sim in car says sim not supported
Put my new sim into my car and the car reads SIM not supported any ideas

Looking on the Jaguar forums, this is not an uncommon issue across all models. One cause could be a faulty card reader.
Have you activated your new SMARTY SIM IanFox_1871678?
If the answer is yes, does it work in another device?
Can we assume that you are using the sim for data only? Where in the car are you putting it? New cars often seem to have a dedicated sim for emergency calls these days - are you putting it into that holder?
yes the SIM works in my ipad but tried again in the car Jaguar XE 2021 and still saying SIM not supported
Sounds like it's probably a question for Jaguar - given SIM works in your iPad but not the car.
