Group plan mix up

I registered my husband with Smarty some time ago, I am the account manager inc my email. I decided ti take a group plan and transport my old mobile number to smarty. Unfortunately the mobile number that I wanted to import has replaced my husband's number.. So he now has my number on his phone. The new sim for me is on my phone but his number has been deleted. He would like his original number back and I would like my old 02 number transferred to my new Smarty plan.

Can anyone help?thanks

You could try a web chat with Smarty Support to see if they can help, but it may already be too late.

The only long-winded way I can think of is to get another sim on another network and port his number to that and then re-start the port back to the correct smarty sim. Of course, you will need to pay for a month on the news from another network and that will then deactivate his existing sim.

    Thanks for your reply.

It's misleading in that on the Smarty account,  it appears you can manage 2 plans on a Smarty account but doesn't state that you can't add a new Sim plan on to an existing account.

Hopefully, Smarty will get in touch very soon as neither my husband nor I can make nor receive calls at the moment!  My mobile number was ported before I received the physical sim and so hopefully, I can make calls when I get the sim but hopefully it will be rectified by being allocated to the plan I signed up for.

This is exactly what happened to me today.  Did you find a solution? Currently neither my husband nor I can make or receive calls.  I am waiting for my physical sim card to arrive and I'm guessing then I'll be able to make calls but the plan I signed up for from Confused.com is different from my husband's.

Theresa_2979769 There was a solution to this problem when it was originally posted two years ago.

It stems from an incorrect request by the Group Owner I think. It is very important to be logged into the correct account before requesting a transfer.

On the other hand, if you feel that the error is with Smarty, then you would still need that web chat to sort it.

You will have to different plans in the group, but that should not be a problem - although you may not get the 10% discount on the plan via Confused.com unless it was specifically offered at the outset.

TinaAsh_1004760 It does sometimes require patience.
