About Phone says Number Unknown
I have a Samsung Galaxy S9. Just switched from EE to Smarty. I got the email and text saying my old number has transferred, Porting Successful. I can make calls and send texts and the internet is working although slow.
Under About Phone my phone number is shown as unknown. Any solutions? (I have tried rebooting the phone)
How long has it been since you were notified of your number being ported?
If it's been just a day or so, it may just be that the networks (Smarty and EE) haven't quite caught up with each other.
It'll probably take another day or so for the networks to be fully ported, maybe with a reboot or two of your phone as well
