Hi My wife and I have just joined, we both sent our PAC code over when we bought the SIM cards and put the codes on our joining forms. My SIM came yesterday 11/04/2026, I waited until today until my wife's SIM card had arrived. We activated our SIM cards roughly within minutes of each other this afternoon 12/04/2026. My PAC number hasn't been accepted and it won't allow me to retry in order to keep my old number. I use my phone for work so tomorrow will be interesting when I'm unable to answer my phone to management and work colleagues. I was wondering if there is anything I can do in order to resolve this issue or have I got to keep the new number you've provided, I've had my old number for over 20 years. Kind regards Steve

Have you been able to get the number transferred over just yet? If not, I'd recommend chatting with the team here, who can look at using the PAC you've provided to complete the transfer for you: https://smarty.co.uk/contact.
If this doesn't work and your number is still active with the previous provider, please request a new PAC and try to complete the transfer with it.

i am with smarty. i need to get a new mobile as i lost the old one. If i get my new phone can i then ask to keep my old phone number?
