I want to suggest the app has the ability to have biometric login for the smarty Mobile app alot of the other mobile providers have that feature built built in. It certainly would make my life alot easier considering the smarty app keeps logging itself out all the time by itself or if you don't regularly open the app which is very annoying as you have to remember your password all the time just to view it which I know is for security reasons but still it is a feature I would like to see smarty Mobile put into the app which is biometric login10Views0likes1CommentProtecting against SIM swap fraud
There are numerous instances these days of SIM Swap fraud. In addition to setting a PIN code to unlock the SIM card, what else can we do to prevent scammers from persuading SMARTY that a SIM has been lost or damaged and handing over a new SIM to them?2.5KViews0likes8CommentsiCloud Private Relay
I have been with Smarty for a couple of years. Today for the first time I have started getting messages pop up on my iPhone telling me "Your mobile plan doesn't support iCloud Private Relay: To access the internet with this provider, you need to turn off Private Relay. Turning off Private Relay means this provider can monitor your internet activity and your IP address will not be hidden". I don't know too much about whether this important or not, but I am confused about why this has just started today. Has anyone else had this issue, and is there anything I can do to continue to use my phone internet with private relay?513Views0likes0CommentsURGENT: SMARTY is failing now, time to move to ID
Compare Smarty to ID on here: https://www.uswitch.com/mobiles/compare/sim_only_deals/ Smarty is honestly terrible. ID offers so much more on the same network for the same price. They offer more data per £, data rollover, more EU countries access, 30GB EU Roaming (18 more than Smarty), e-sim for Watches, 3 months of Apple TV + Music. It is a no-brainer to switch now, Smarty has lost it's game sadly.859Views0likes2CommentsApp and Website login constantly asks for verification - never remembers trusted devices
Why is it that every time I access the website and/or app (Android Galaxy S23 Ultra) I am constantly nagged to enter a verification code (sent via email or text). This is especially annoying when using the phone app as it explicity it asks if I "trust this device". Why not just add biometric (fingerprint/face id) support and be done with it? Does anyone else have this issue?Solved4.9KViews1like7Comments[We Value Your Feedback] Share Your Experience with Our Login and Authentication Process

Hi, I haven't received my SIM yet, but had a few questions: 1 My account page does not have much functionality, will this change once I activate my SIM? 2 If I navigate away from my dashboard, I seem unable to navigate back again; there does not seem to be a button to take me straight back to the dashboard. 3 My contract says that I will get double the data "for up to 15 months", which seems a bit vague. Does anyone know how long the offer actually runs for, and why don't they give a definite figure? 4 I haven't been offered two factor authentication on my account; is this something that will be offered after activation of my SIM?4.1KViews0likes10CommentsCall Divert FRAUD suspected
A caller phoned me claiming that they had received a missed call from my phone an hour previous; I had not used my phone that morning. The caller was adamant that they had received a call from my number and wanted to know if I was a business (I am not/never have been) and asked me several times. Subsequently I am wondering if my number has been copied/cloned and tried seeking advice from Smarty, to no avail as they appear to put profit over security/customer support and hide behind their Kafkaesque website to prevent contacting them. Any suggestions before I approach Ofcom to complain of Smarty's failure to engage with me?1.9KViews0likes8Comments
