short code and add ons

i have 4Gb of data add ons , can i use this for short codes ? as i cannot use it for anything else ( was told i could use it for data in the USA , wrong )

No you cannot use a 4GB data add on to send chargeable short code messages.

@Ianburg_1107288 If you have 4Gb of add on data, you can only use it when your plan data runs out.

For short code text messages, you need cash credit add on in your account.

For Roaming outside the EU, you also need the cash add on.
