OTP while abroad

I am currently in the Philippines and not able to receive OTP from my bank which may result in me returning to the UK early due to money issues.  

I have travelled here for the last 10 years and never had a problem with both O2 and Vodaphone.   

anyone had the same problem or have solutions as I have been chatting with support and they have no idea and are just shrugging shoulders with no interest to help me
