Poor service since three and Vodafone merger
Has anyone else noticed the poor service since three and Vodafone merged. Texts are taking a day to be delivered, didn’t think too much of it when it first happened but then I heard in the news that they had merged. Always had this problem with Vodafone both personally and with a business account. Think I may have to move from Smarty.

since just before Xmas i was getting average 60 down now since Xmas i can only get a max of 20
last year it was in the 80 down
if this keeps up i too will be looking elsewhere for a provider.since this`merger`my speeds have become piss poor :(

I left vodafone for smarty as their signal was horrendous, was seeing same issues since the merger, 5G signal but nothing working.
Went in to the settings and "mobile networks"-"Network operators", turned off the automatic "choose a carrier" and selected Smarty from the list. Phone now appears to be back to itself and working as it should.

I switch from EE this week as I heard so much good stuff about smarty, however after one day I'm doubting if I'll stay as internet signal is shocking, I had the old H network this morning which I haven't seen for years .

These last few weeks my network connection has been dropping.
The bars on my phone would go to zero and I would lose all mobile broadband.
I was used to excellent 5G coverage and very high speeds.
I thought that it might be the 5G antennae inside my phone (if there is one?) as my phone is about 4 years old. I could 'reconnect' by rebooting my phone.
So I bought a new phone only to have the same issue.
This led me to thinking that there might be something else happening.
So I did a search and asked if there had been any network issues since the merger, and found that a lot of issues have been reported.
Now I have a new phone that I didn't really need!
When the network disconnects me now, I have found that if I switch my phone into airplane mode for a few seconds, then back again, I reconnect. I guess that I will have to do this until hopefully, things improve.

I left SMARTY after many years to go to EE and EE throttled my hotspot to below 1mbps,so now I am back and getting less than 1mbps on my phone, honestly VODAFONE were the worst company I have ever had a phone with and I bet 100 percent this is down to them greedy dreadful company, Smarty I am leaving you once this £20 runs out. AWFUL SPEEDS BAD SERVICE ALL ROUND.
Anyone have any better ideas as these guys replying are obviously smarty employees

Still poor internet speeds on SMARTY since the merger. I use to get download speeds of 40+Mb/s, now I'm lucky to get 14Mb/s. I know this for a fact because I've been keeping a log since the 7/06/25 and had a baseline from before the merger.
I also know someone that uses a different service provider, which piggybacked off the 3 network, and since the merger they are also having a poor internet speed. Everyone can't be lying about it.

I agree 100%. I do not receive my texts for a day and miss calls that do not show as missed and I do not receive a missed call sms because of the delays, it is a joke. I may have to go back to EE.

That's exactly the same for me in post codes BB10 and BB11. Has anyone received a proper answer from Smarty? As what I've seen so far just blab from them!

I used to get a great service but now both my 4g & 5g sims are slow to connect to the internet & they are keep dropping connection after 5mins or so, which is a real pain when trying to use internet banking. I am gonna have reseach a better provider 😞

I’ve been having problems for 6+ weeks now
not good for emergencies and work related issues so many dead spots can’t even check Waze as no signal when will this ever end
so fed up of this merger and so called work
