Been using 4g SIM for home internet for years now. Started with smarty unlimited, then 6 months later got a better deal from three direct. The performance has been robust and flawless.

I have had a 15 month deal of 50GB for £8. This offer is available on the smarty homepage, however when I log in it disappears and only shows less value for money deals. Is this deal now only for new customers?

Vodafone takover
I am concerned about this takeover by Vodafone. Will the monthly data and price change? I have looked at Vodafone's tarrifs, data allowances and they don't seem nowhere near as generous as smartys offer. Anyone else thinking the same?

Just asked a smarty representative on web chat and they told me 15 months. The plan end date doesn't show on dashboard as it doesn't start until 1st May.

50GB for £8 how long will it last?
I have just changed over to the 50GB for £8 offer. How long does this offer last? Been told two stories - one says 15 months, the other says July. What tariff will I go on after July (if that is the end date)? I was on black Friday double data 32GB for £8.

Fair Usage
Is there some kind of fair usage on the data only sim unlimited? I appear to be using around 5 GB per day with the SIM card in a 4g router. Using it for general browsing and streaming catch up.
