No data service and useless customer support
After 6 years of good service from 3 / Smarty 10 days ago the data service was cut to 2 or less Mbps. We have 4 cell towers nearby but are being connected to one that does not cover our location. If I walk 20 meters from my location and into the cell area then data speeds are fine. I have repeatedly explained this to customer service by e-mail only to receive standard responses of congestion or ongoing repairs. Neither are correct because I can walk into nearby cell areas (locations checked with cell Mapper) and get good data service. I have provided information on cell tower locations and coverage nearby but the same unhelpful responses are all I get. So far from 22 emails sent I have dealt with 17 different customer service operatives. The issue applies to my neighbours as well (on 3 network), some of who are old and can not understand what is happening, however Smarty do not seem interested. Up to 10 days ago I thought Smarty were a good service provider but they obviously have no interest in listening to and correcting problems that they are creating.1.3KViews0likes3Comments
