Hi there NathanN_2544081 and GaryHal_1976969! Like you, I do not own a credit card, I only own debit cards as I am self employed and don’t have a guaranteed income. Unfortunately, SMARTY only allows for credit cards to be used as this is the only way to verify an individual over 18 is the account holder, this is because it is illegal to own a credit card under 18. There is a fix to this however, you can contact support chat which is open from 8am - 8pm and will be able to help you with this (I assume they will just unlock it). Hey again! I have actually just realised what is going on for you DavidJo! You are logging on to the website each time you’d like to check data or make changes to your SMARTY account, which is an inconvenient way to do it. If you’d like to stop being messaged for verification each time you need to check your allowance, download the SMARTY app from either the App Store or Play Store (dependant on what mobile phone you have). I have compiled the two download links which will take you to your mobile phone’s app store automatically: Play Store (Google Pixel, Samsung, Huawei, etc - Android) App Store (iPhone - iOS) I really hope this helps you and makes your days just that little bit better! Hi there IainSut_1966873! I am not sure what plan you are on, but with the normal SIM Only plans (which is the on I have) they include 12 GB of EU roaming data which is taken out of your existing data allowance. For clarity, say you went to Spain for a week and ended up using 10GB of data, it would come out of your XX amount of data already on your plan at no extra charge! I am unfortunately not sure what happens after you use up the 12 GB of allowance whilst roaming, I assume SMARTY automatically bills you for a ‘1 Day EU data pass’ which will give you unlimited data for the day at the price of £3. Hi there DavidJo! This is strange, i’m a new customer and every time I login to the app OR website, I only get an email - which I personally appreciate as it gives me a sense of clarity.
